Germany vs Agentina - score 1-1 | Penatly kicks 4-2
Gamed ended.
First half - Micheal Ballack missed a good chance to score by header, powerful but it was wide away from target. Argentina is building up steady as you can see the ball possession for Argentina is 67% and Germany is 33%.
Not much scoring chance for both teams, defends are tough. Ball seem to be hovering at mid field, with either free kick blocked by the wall or cross been headed out by the defender. If the game is still played like this in the second half, most likely it will drag to extra time or even penalty kicks.
Second half - Nice crossed from Argentina Riquelme Juan let Ayala Roberto lead a goal for Argentina by header at 49mins.
A goal for Germany at 81mins, klose did it again! It was a header goal again, the ball comes from Micheal Ballack who has been a great play maker this game. An equaliser for Germany.
Extra time first half - 99mins gone, still nothing created so far… Klose has been substituted out at 86mins, are Germany too confident or they’re planning to go for penalty kicks?
Extra time second half - Agentina Coloccini Fabricio tries a long distance shot at 116mins and hit the top bar, else this would be the vita goal of the match.

Spain vs France - score 1-3
Game ended (93+mins).
First half - Nice free kick for Spain at 9mins by Pernia Mariano, the ball just slightly went above the upper bar. 24mins passed, still can’t see any scoring chances for both teams.
France missed a good chance to score, Henry Thierry pushed a low ball to center but Ribery Frank and Vieira Patrick failed to reach it and the ball just rolled passed them.
France Thuram Lilian fouls on Spain Pablo inside the penalty box and Spain won a penalty. Kick was taken by Villa David at 28mins, no problem with him and it was a GOAL! Now France has to really catch up as they still have not show any impressive attacking yet.
An equalizing GOAL for France by Ribery Frank at 41mins, good finishing from him while 2 Spain defenders were desperately trying to slide away the ball. This will be an interesting match.
Second half - Ball possession for Spain is 60% and France is 40%. First yellow card flashed for France Vieira Patrick for a tackle from behind.
GOAL for France by Vieira Patrick at 83mins, Zidane delivered a nice cross inside, a Spain defender deflected the cross but this set up nicely for Vieira Patrick to send the ball into the net.
GOAL again for France by Zidane at 93mins just before the final whistle, he dribbled passed Spain defender Puyol Carlos and drives the ball powerfully into the net. France has won the match and will advance to quarter final meeting Brazil.

Brasil vs Ghana - score 3-0
Game ended (93+mins).
First half - The match which I’m waiting for has finally started, stay tuned for great excitement. GOAL!!!!! Brazil Ronaldo scored at 5mins, as usual he was able to get passed 1 on 1 with goal keeper and drive the ball into the net.
Ghana seems to fuel up after the goal from Brazil. The guys are playing tough, already 3 yellow cards flashed within 17mins. Ghana is extremely dangerous now to Brazil, they are trying every possible shots and finding ways to penetrate through Brazil defends. These guys are fast with their counter attacks.
A great chance for Ghana to equalize with a powerful downward header by Mensah John but it drives towards Brazil goal keeper’s leg and reflected out.
A great cross from Brazil Cafu to Adriano directs the ball into the net at 46mins stoppage time. Brazil is now leading 2 goals.
Second half - Ghana will have a hard game in the second half, let see what these guys can do. Ball possession so far for Brazil is 43% and Ghana is 57%. Ghana tried a shot towards the far right pole at 69mins but was saved by Brazil Dida, it was quite a stretched for that saved. Ghana Gyan Asamoah was sent off, now they are down to 10 man.
Goal again for Brazil at 84mins by Ze Roberto, faulty Ghana offside trap lead a chance for him. Looks like the end is near for Ghana.
Final Whistle blows, Brazil has won the match and will advance to quarter final. 3 Cheers for Ghana, good game!

Switzerland vs Ukraine - score 0-3
Game ended.
First half - Ukraine goal keeper had a beautiful saved from Switzerland Wicky shot at 13mins. Almost a goal for Urkaine by Shevchenko’s header at 21mins, ball hit the bar.
Omg… Switzerland Frei Alexander free kick hit the bar also at 24mins… Exciting match to watch. Ball possession so far for Switzerland is 58% and Ukraine is 42%.
Second half - Both teams are still trying to break through, but the defenders are doing well. Looks like this match would extent to extra time. Ball possession so far for Switzerland is 54% and Ukraine is 46%.
Extra time first half - Spirit are high for both teams, only 1 yellow card so far for Switzerland Barnetta. A chance for Switzerland, Vogel Johann shot on target but the goal keeper covers the angle well.
Extra time second half - Both teams are getting tense, any goal now would be fatal. I’m eager to see the penalty shots. Defenders are still doing very well till the last mins, 120mins game still no winner.

Italy vs Australia - score 1-0
Game ended.
First half - Australia got a good chance to score at 29mins but the shot went directly to the goal keeper. Italy got a few shots on target but was saved by goal keeper. Italy has 6 shots and Australia has 3 shots so far. There will be more action from these 2 teams in the second half, stay tuned.
Second half - Italy Materazzi was sent off after a hard tackle, now they are down with 10 man. Francesco Totti was in at 74mins, the crowds were cheering for him. Ball possession for Italy is 49% and Australia is 51%.
Australia John Aloisi was in at 82mins, looks like both teams used their lethal weapon at the last.
Fabio Grosso had gone down under a Lucas Neill challenge just seconds before the final whistle and Italy won a penalty at 91mins (injury time), Francesco Totti took and it was a GOAL! Italy has won the match and advance to quarter final.

Portugal vs Netherlands - score 1-0
Game ended.
Quite an exciting match to watch, both teams are very aggressive. Portugal Maniche dribbled passed 2 defenders and scored the opening goal. Cristiano Ronaldo was rather sad when he couldn’t play anymore due to the injury earlier when the match started. Tears dropping down when he sat on the bench and players were consoling him.
Portugal Costinha got 2 yellow cards and was out of the game, they were left with 10 man.
Netherlands Boulahrouz was sent off after appearing to elbow Luis Figo in the face. They were left with 10 man also.
Some drama occurs, Portugal Deco foul again and was sent off, becoming Netherland 10 man versus Portugal 9 man game. What a match… so many yellow and red cards flashing..
Final whistle has blown, Portugal won the match and will advance to quarter final meeting England.

Game ended
Phew… Ecuador almost score a goal at 11mins, shot hit the goal pole… Possession for both teams is 50% - 50%, not many shot in the first half. Expect more excitement in the second half.
Beckham SCORED on free kicked at 60mins! Beautiful curve long shot, that’s what I like to see from him. Ecuador played well and very persistent but only without good finishing.

Mexico has an early goal as well, this is going to be an interesting match.
Wow, Argentina equalized in 5mins later after Mexico has scored. If you have not start watching this match you should watch now.
Extra time was been played, and Argentina Maxi scored a beautiful goal at 98mins. Mexico played a good game in this match, but too bad they lost a goal in the extra time and were out of the tournament.

Germany vs Sweden - score 2-0
Finally the stage 2 of this world cup has started and it was a fast opening goal for Germany, expect to see more tough fights later in the match. Podolski scored again for Germany at 12mins. Sweden missed a penalty kick in second half and that missed demoralized the team, they have lost this match and are out of the tournament. Germany will advance to quarter final.

Japan vs Brazil - score 1-4
Japan goalie on top form today, saved a few deadly shots… Ronaldo finally a score on 45mins, I’m still expecting to see more goals from him. Great long shot from Juninho put Brazil leading the game and followed by Silva goal within a few mins. Ronaldo goal on 81mins finalised the game, great victory for Brazil.
